기존 병렬 데이터 교환 방식이 아닌 I2C 통신 방식으로 문자형 LCD를 조작할 수 있는 상품입니다.

LCD1602 IIC/I2C Module은 Adapter plate를 문자형 LCD모듈에 붙여 판매되고 있는 상품으로써,

아두이노, 라즈베리파이, AVR, PIC, ARM, FPGA 등과의 연결 후 바로 사용할 수 있습니다.

LCD 12C 인터페이스 사용시 2핀 자원만 사용됩니다.

기존 16핀 LCD모듈을 사용하려면 많은 핀을 사용해야 합니다. LCD 12C 인터페이스 변경 후 2핀 자원만 사용됩니다.

보드 사용시 LCD 밝기 조절은 보드 위의 가변저항을 돌려서 맞추시면 됩니다.

Adapter plate의 사용가능 LCD로는 1602, 1604, 2002, 2004 등이 있습니다.

공급전압은 5V이고, 12C 프로토콜을 지원합니다.

SCL       →          A5

As the pin resources of Arduino controller is limited, your project may be not able to use normal LCD shield after connected with a certain quantity of sensors or SD card. However, with this I2C interface module, you will be able to realize data display via only 2 wires. 

If you already has I2C devices in your project, this LCD module actually cost no more resources at all.
